Emotionally... Stable

So I have been known to be somewhat on the emotional side of the street. I cry easily because I am touched by things that other people are maybe too busy to notice. I also laugh until I have tears coming from my eyes often. I love, love, love the people in my life who are kind enough to tolerate me, despite all my faults. I was talking with a friend :) recently and we were talking about the fact that I am "emotional." I just want to say that after some thought on the subject this evening, I am SO THANKFUL to feel everything just the way I feel it. I think about how lucky I am that my heart nearly bursts each time I see my grandparents embrace or that I cry when people pour their hearts out on the Kleenex Couch. I am so happy that I can laugh until I snort and not even care.
Sunday, as soon as fast and testimony meeting started, Caleb, looked back at me and said: "Mom, don't go up there.. you will cry... again!" Despite this plea, I went up and well, I said something cute to keep me from going the crying route but I am happy to FEEL. I have also decided that everyone around me is blessed by this trait of mine as well. :) (he he he)

I better sign off now before I start thinking about all of you and how much I miss you and then start crying!!

11.) Visit all my sisters and my mother, OFTEN. I miss you all!

Sorry... No pictures!

I think that most of you know but for those of you who have yet to be informed.. My camera is not working. I know better than to let my boys touch any electronic device that is mine but a week or so ago, Christian really wanted to take a picture of Caleb doing back flips outside. I reluctantly agreed. I handed him my camera. FIVE MINUTES and four pictures later, He comes in and says: "Mom, your batteries died, the camera shut off but it won't close." Seemed like a believable story at the time but low and behold the next day I go to change the batteries and guess what? MY CAMERA IS BROKEN! What was I thinking? I know better than to let them even look at my things for more than five seconds much less allow them to touch it. Soooo, that being said. I do not know when or IF we will start posting pictures again so you are simply going to just have to read everything.. Sorry! :)

Christian...Always looking for a laugh!

I have two stories about Christian. The first is related to a pair of women's "Keds Like" orange shoes from Wal Mart that he borrowed from a friend. Please do not ask me why....Anyway, I told him that he really had to STOP wearing them A.) because they are women's and B.) Well, because they were women's... and I hated them... :) So last week I was driving him over to His Nana's (Lucille) house and he said " Hey mom, my Nana wears shoes like this, I wonder if she will say anything. Well, there is no such thing as a quick drop off to a grandparent's house so I was prepared to come in and sit down for a little while. Let me set the stage here. The show that was playing on the TV was Maury Povich and it was about "Baby Daddies that Cheat" or something close to that. It was ridiculous anyway. So, we started to talk about doctors and I don't know.. everything. Then Christian leaned over and pulled a shoe shining kit from a table and Lucille told me that it had belonged to her late husband and that she would place her shoes on the floor near his chair and in the morning, they would be polished. Well, then she looked down and saw Christian's orange lady shoes and she says "Oh, Christian, I like those shoes. i should get a pair of those." YES, I am serious. Well I was okay until I looked at Christian.. Then he and I lost it. We mostly held it under our breath and were making awkward noises.. It was HILARIOUS.. or Maybe you just had to be there. (He has not worn the shoes since! Hahahaha) Thanks Lucille!!

Okay, second story. Sunday we stood for the Hymn during Stake Conference and Christian was standing next to me. No big deal, except that we were nearly eye to eye when I looked over at him. I did a double take and he looked at me with a "What?" expression. I thought for a moment before saying anything, hoping that I had not been so unobservant that I did not notice that he had grown three inches overnight. I said "Christian, you are so tall. You are really growing" I was just Dumbfounded and he said, "No, not really." Well, I looked down at his feet and I could not see that his pants were hanging any different. I just shook my head and was absolutely amazed. Well, as we were leaving.. He walked past me and I said, Wait a minute, He laughed and told me that he pulled his pants a little lower and was on the heel of his shoes. He got me. He got me good!

Recipe for a GREAT TIME:

3 Ropes, Two Ladders, One Tree and of Course Mimi and Paps's house..These pictures were taken on July 28th, the day the day that Caleb & Corey flew home from Louisiana. We had lunch with Mimi, Papa and Uncle John, after visiting his coin shop and then we went back to Mimi and Papa's.. some of us took a nap... and some of us hung from a tree. (Mimi was not happy when she woke up to this) "That is Tacky"... need I say more? Let me also mention that Christian rigged HIMSELF up in this contraption that you see below. I was afraid that his pants were going to rip right in half!! We love you Mimi and Papa!
